I am running a workshop based on the East coast of Norfolk photographing the lovely landscapes of my 'local patch'. This workshop will visit coastal locations in East and North Norfolk as well as visiting the gentle landscapes of the Norfolk Broads.

Like all the workshops I run myself the accomodation will be on a self catering basis. Each day we will have breakfast at the house and then head out for the day photographing on location. After the photographic day is over we will then go out for an evening meal (there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants in the area) and if there is time, we will go through some of the images made during the day back at the house. Please note all drinks, food during the day and evening meals are not included in the workshop price.

I have booked a lovely house for this workshop in the coastal village of Winterton on Sea which is also my favourite location on the East coast of Norfolk.

Details of the accomodation are below:

The Farmhouse - February workshop
Pinrush - December workshop

We meet up for the workshop on the Sunday afternoon and if there is time we will get out with the cameras for the last light of day. Monday brings the first full day of four out shooting on location. My aim is to visit a wide variety of locations where you can practice different techniques of landscape photography, I will be on hand at all times to offer advice and guidance and will not be making my own images.

The landscapes of this part of Norfolk have a very wild feel at this time of year, a huge contrast to the summer months when the beaches are full and the waterways of the Broads are full of the ubiquitous (and rather ugly) broads cruisers.

The workshop finishes on Thursday evening but you are more than welcome to stay at the house until we have to vacate the premises on Saturday morning.Perhaps you can have another day photographing the landscape or perhaps take a trip to Norwich or just relax in the beautiful house and local area.

Ideally the workshop is catered for those at beginner or intermediate level, subjects to be covered on the workshop are:

Focal length choice.
Getting the most out of Live View.
The wider vista and the more abstract scene.

Please contact me via the contact page on this site if you require any more information or if you would be interested in booking a place on the workshop.
